A doctoral thesis of 60–120 pages, involving independent study and research. You will have the chance for a 30-minute consultation with a member of the Training Committee, who will help you structure your paper for clarity and effectiveness, based on your selected topic.

A two-year history of consistent ministry in missions, pastoral work, evangelism, or teaching, validated by two letters of recommendation.

A paragraph written for each book of the Bible, outlining your understanding of its content. The paragraphs must be typed and double-spaced.

A 10-year history of consistent ministry in missions, pastoral work, evangelism, or teaching (validated by two letters of recommendation) can be awarded 18 credits. All other courses, not transferred from a master's degree, will need to be completed.

You may transfer up to 50% of the degree credits if you have previously completed the required courses in a Master's degree. However, if you receive 18 credits for prior ministry experience, you can transfer a maximum of 25% of the remaining credits into the degree. All other required courses must be completed.

Prerequisite: Master’s degree (i.e Theology, Biblical studies, ministry, counseling, etc.)

If you have earned an MTI certificate, you may transfer up to two certificates.

Fast Track Options (choose one): 

• 5+ years of experience without MTI certificates 

• May transfer up to 50% of the required credits from previous coursework

• Previously earned MTI Certificates (must already be completed at time of admissions) 

  • For ex. we have equated an MTI to be equivalent to 21 credits which is equal to 54 credit hours. So if you transferred in 2  MTI Certificates, you  would only have to take 5 courses  and your final doctoral thesis and other mandatory capstone work. You can transfer a max of 2 MTI for the Doctors track.
