Our Spirit Life minister's training program is designed to cater to individuals with a sincere desire to expand their understanding of ministry and deepen their connection with God.

What to expect?

Join us for an enriching 12-week semester of Ministerial Training led by Dr. Tarver-Bishop. In this course, students will dive deep into the wisdom of the Word of God through enlightening teachings, foundational study materials, and engaging assignments and tests.

Certification & Ordination

Upon successful completion of the course, all participants will receive a certificate of completion. However, please note that the opportunity for ordination as pastors and ministers is available exclusively to those who apply for the ordination process. Students may also request an official transcript by sending an email to mti@spiritlifechurchla.org.

About

This 60 credit theology course provides a comprehensive foundation in Christian doctrine, biblical studies, church history, and practical ministry, with courses covering topics like the nature of God, spiritual gifts, and Christian ethics. Students will also explore key areas such as leadership, evangelism, spiritual warfare, and the role of the Holy Spirit, all while developing a deeper understanding of the Christian faith and how to live it out in practice.
