Welcome to the Ministers Training Institute Winter Semester 2025!

Our Spirit Life minister's training program is designed to cater to individuals with a sincere desire to expand their understanding of ministry and deepen their connection with God.

What to expect?

Join us for an enriching 12-week semester of Ministerial Training led by Dr. Tarver-Bishop. In this course, students will dive deep into the wisdom of the Word of God through enlightening teachings, foundational study materials, and engaging assignments and tests.

Certification & Ordination

Upon successful completion of the course, all participants will receive a certificate of completion. However, please note that the opportunity for ordination as pastors and ministers is available exclusively to those who apply for the ordination process. Students may also request an official transcript by sending an email to mti@spiritlifechurchla.org.

About

This 90-120 credit Bachelor’s degree program emphasizes the deepening of spiritual knowledge and ministry practice, covering essential topics like intercessory prayer, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the believer's authority. Core courses explore biblical texts such as I & II Corinthians, Acts, and Revelation, while also equipping students with skills in biblical counseling, strategic spiritual warfare, developing a Christian worldview, and understanding the anointing for effective ministry and leadership. SLST will be using a new system that includes a non-refundable technology annual fee of $100. This amount is already included in your tuition.
