Foundational Courses

• ATHE101: The King’s Table: God’s Praying People (3 Credits) This course emphasizes the role of prayer in the life of believers, exploring biblical principles and practices of intercession, petition, and thanksgiving. Students will discover the power of communal prayer and the spiritual discipline of seeking God’s will.

• MIN201: Motivational Gifts in Your Life (3 Credits) Discover how God has uniquely equipped you for service through the Motivational Gifts outlined in Romans 12. This practical course guides students in identifying their specific motivational gift mix, understanding its distinct characteristics, and applying this self-knowledge to enhance personal growth, relationships, and ministry effectiveness.

• MIN202: Soul Winning (3 Credits) This practical course equips believers with the heart and skills for effective personal evangelism, based on the "Soul Winning" manual. Students will explore the biblical mandate for soul winning, learn various methods for sharing the Gospel clearly, overcome common fears, and practice leading others to faith in Jesus Christ. • THE123: General Epistles (3 Credits) This course explores the New Testament General Epistles, focusing on the letters written by apostles such as James, Peter, John, and Jude. Students will examine the theological themes, historical context, and practical applications of these letters for early Christian communities and modern believers.

• THE126: The Book of Acts (3 Credits) This is the history of the early Church. The early Apostles/Disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and preached Jesus Christ in their generation. The Book of Acts is alive today. We need to be motivated to put into practice these powerful Truths of the Holy Spirit, reaching the world for Christ in our generation.

• THE145: Prophetic Worship (3 Credits) Teaches the understanding of worship with a pure heart toward God. A heart of love is the atmosphere in which the Holy Spirit moves, leading to the prophetic and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

• THE235: The New Testament Church and Its Ministries (3 Credits) This course analyzes the New Testament Church as the foundational blueprint for contemporary church life and ministry. Students will investigate its core practices, including worship, fellowship, discipleship, ordinances (baptism, communion), leadership structures, and the diverse ministries established to build up the Body of Christ and reach the world.

• AMIN100: Learn, Healing and Deliverance (3 Credits) This course provides a comprehensive understanding of healing and deliverance, equipping students with biblical principles and practical techniques to minister to those in need. Students will learn to partner with the Holy Spirit to bring others physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

• THE133: Knowing God's Voice (3 Credits) This course delves into the attributes and character of God as revealed in Scripture. Students will explore His holiness, justice, love, and sovereignty, deepening their understanding of His nature, His voice, and how it shapes Christian faith and practice.

• THE137: The Present Day Truths in the Last Days (3 Credits) Focuses on biblical prophecy and its relevance to contemporary world events, equipping students to discern the signs of the times. It delves into the urgency of spiritual preparedness as the Church anticipates Christ’s return.

• THE139: A Commentary on the Song of Solomon (3 Credits) This course offers a detailed and spiritual commentary on the Song of Solomon, exploring its rich layers of love, romance, and divine intimacy. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the allegorical representation of Christ’s love for His Church and its application in personal faith.

• THE144: God's Endtime Army (3 Credits) This course explores the biblical concept of God raising up a dedicated 'army' of believers for the end times. Students will study scriptural prophecies and principles related to spiritual readiness, unity, effective evangelism, and operating in Kingdom authority to fulfill God's purposes in the last days.

• MIN112: Prophetic New Testament (3 Credits) Explores the role and function of prophecy and prophetic gifts within the New Testament church. This course examines key biblical texts (Acts, Epistles) to understand prophecy's impact on early church life and mission, considering its relevance today.

• MIN114: Intercessory Prayer (3 Credits) The Intercessory Prayer course equips participants with a deep understanding of the power and purpose of praying on behalf of others. It provides practical tools, biblical insights, and a spiritual framework for effective intercession in both personal and corporate prayer settings.

• MIN117: Strategic Spiritual Warfare II (3 Credits) This course delves deeper into advanced spiritual combat techniques, equipping believers with the tools and knowledge to confront and overcome demonic forces and strongholds. Through biblical teachings, practical strategies, and prayer exercises, participants gain the confidence to engage in effective spiritual warfare and achieve victory in their personal and communal lives.

• TM999: Master's Thesis (6 Credits) This capstone course involves supervised scholarly research on an approved topic related to the SLST program. Requires proposal development, research, and writing of a 30-60 page thesis demonstrating critical engagement and research skills, subject to final approval.
